कोविड-19 संक्रमण एवं विद्यालयों का संचालन बाधित होने के कारण राज्य के सरकारी विद्यालयों में अध्ययनरत कक्षा 1 से 12 के विद्यार्थियों के पठन-पाठन की निरंतरता को बनाए रखने के लिए शिक्षा विभाग, बिहार सरकार के द्वारा डिजिटल/ऑनलाइन शिक्षण की व्यवस्था किए जाने का प्रयास किया जा रहा है। इस क्रम में बिहार शिक्षा परियोजना परिषद, राज्य शिक्षा शोध एवं प्रशिक्षण परिषद एवं यूनिसेफ़ के संयुक्त प्रयास से कक्षा 1 से 12 की पाठ्य-पुस्तकों के आधार पर ई-कंटैंट का निर्माण किया गया। साथ ही, विभिन्न स्रोतों, यथा – दीक्षा पोर्टल, स्वयंप्रभा चैनल, एन०आर०ओ०ई०आर० (National Repository of Open Educational Resources) एवं शिक्षा के क्षेत्र में कार्यरत विभिन्न संस्थाओं से भी कक्षा 1 से 12 की पाठ्य-पुस्तकों के आधार पर उपलब्ध ई-कंटेन्ट प्राप्त किया गया। यद्यपि राज्य में वर्ष 2020-21 के दौरान कक्षा 1 से 12 के विद्यार्थियों के पठन-पाठन की निरंतरता को बनाए रखने के लिए दूरदर्शन बिहार के माध्यम से इन ई-कंटेन्ट के आधार पर शैक्षणिक प्रसारण भी कराये गए। जिसे मेरा दूरदर्शन मेरा विद्यालय नाम दिया गया।
