Youth Program

The New Orleans Blaze is passionate about making a difference in the lives of local youth.  Each season we will select ten young men and women to work with the New Orleans Blaze.  These youth will have the opportunity to learn about team management, fiscal responsibility, practice regiments, and overall job responsibilty and dedication.  Upon completion of the season, the youth will receive a performance review and a letter of recommendation to any job that they wish to apply for. 

It is difficult for youth to get work experience and have recommendations to place on applications.  The New Orleans Blaze Youth Internship Program gives real world experience to the young men and women and in turn, the team provides them with the motivation and skills to be a positive player in the work force.
